COVID-19

  • Proof of vaccination, provided that people have a complete vaccination schedule:
    • 7 days after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca) ;
    • 28 days after injection for single injection vaccines (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson);
    • 7 days after vaccine injection for people who have had Covid-19 (single injection).
    • 7 days after administration of an additional dose of a messenger RNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) for persons fully vaccinated abroad with a vaccine placed on the World Health Organization (WHO) emergency list but not licensed or recognised by the European Medicines Agency (Sinovac/Coronavac or Sinopharm/BBIB-PVeroCells).
  • Proof of a negative RT-PCR, antigenic test or a self-test performed under the supervision of a health professional of less than 72 hours. Self-tests performed under the supervision of a health professional are indeed again recognised as evidence for the health pass.
  • The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test attesting to the recovery of Covid, at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old. This indicates a limited risk of re-infection with Covid-19

European Health Pass for travelling in Europe

Since 1 July 2021, to travel within the European Union, you must present the “EU digital Covid certificate” which consists of presenting, in digital format (via “My book” of the TousAntiCovid application) or on paper, one of the following 3 health proofs (one of these 3 proofs is sufficient):

  • The vaccination certificate, provided that the persons have a complete vaccination schedule:
    • 7 days after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca)
    • 28 days after injection for single injection vaccines (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson);
    • 7 days after vaccine injection for people who have had Covid-19 (single injection).
  • Proof of a negative RT-PCR test less than 72 hours old or an antigenic test less than 48 hours old for travel to Corsica, the overseas territories and the European Union.
  • The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test attesting to the recovery of Covid, dating back at least 11 days and less than 6 months. This indicates a limited risk of re-infection with Covid-19.

To travel in Europe, it is necessary to present the health pass in European format with a QR Code “EU digital Covid certificate”, which can be read anywhere in Europe, directly in the TousAntiCovid application or in paper format, in French and English.

The “EU digital Covid certificate” is valid in all European Union countries as well as in Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Monaco and Andorra. It is available in the national languages and in English. It is applicable for travel to the overseas territories.

The use of the European format health pass for travel is legally foreseen until 30 June 2022.
